A small footprint in a big universe.

LxLMath is built for learning, with privacy at the center. This guide explains what the app stores and what you choose to share.

Play first. Save when you choose.

You can play without an account. A necessary browser cookie connects your temporary expedition to this browser, including if you sign in to save a completed result. Unclaimed results expire after 24 hours.

What an account keeps

Firebase Authentication manages your email and password securely. LxLMath stores an editable explorer alias, a chosen kitten avatar, learning progress, achievements, preferences, and recent expedition results. Your email does not appear on the Crew Board or shared links.

If you’re under 13, ask your parent or guardian to create and manage an account for you. You can keep exploring without creating one.

You control what becomes public

Sharing is optional. Before creating a link, you see the alias, achievement, score and expedition rules that will be public. Links expire after 30 days and can be revoked in Settings. Turning sharing off makes your links unavailable. Chat apps may keep a preview after a link is revoked.

Explorer aliases can be public. Do not use your real name, email, phone number, social handle, or other contact details. Automated checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee that an alias is private.

The weekly Crew Board is off by default. If you join, only your explorer alias, best verified score and skill appear. You can leave at any time. Profiles do not include free-form bios, and there is no private or public free-form messaging.

Necessary technology only

We use Firebase and Google Cloud to run the app, authenticate accounts and save progress. Fonts and artwork are served with the app. There are no advertising trackers, ad profiles, or public email lookups. Necessary abuse-prevention counters use hashed identifiers; request logs must be access-restricted and retained only for operations.

We count daily signups, shared-link opens and challenge completions to understand whether the experience works. These first-party totals contain no email, account, link or visitor identifiers and are removed after 90 days. No advertising or third-party analytics service receives them.

Learning and identity without live AI

The questions, checking, explanations and scoring in this release use verified mathematical rules. Kitten avatars come from a pre-generated shared library served with the app. Playing or changing your identity does not send your answers or profile data to an AI provider.

Retention and account care

Temporary guest results expire after 24 hours. Saved round details and share links are retained for up to 30 days; aggregate progress remains with your account. Expired items become inaccessible immediately and are removed by scheduled storage cleanup. A parent or account owner can request a copy or removal of account data from LxLMath.
